AssetTrack: Transformasi Pengelolaan Inventaris Digital Berbasis Barcode & QR

Project Overview

AssetTrack engineered as a comprehensive platform for institutions and enterprises with physical equipment and assets distributed across multiple offices, headquarters, and logistics warehouses. The system centralizes all asset records from acquisition dates and book valuations to physical room locations and operational statuses.

By integrating browser-native barcode/QR scanning without requiring expensive external hardware scanners, field staff can verify physical inventory in seconds using standard smartphones or tablets.

Operational Challenges (The Problem)

Sebelum implementasi AssetTrack, operasional inventaris menghadapi kendala serius:

• Data Fragmentation: Inventory records were fragmented across disjointed Microsoft Excel files without cross-departmental synchronization.
• Aset Hilang Tanpa Jejak: Sulit mengetahui siapa pemegang terakhir laptop kantor, monitor, atau server saat terjadi mutasi ruangan.
• Stock Opname Lambat: Annual physical audits took weeks due to error-prone manual serial number checks and spreadsheet discrepancies.
• Ketidakpastian Valuasi: Management struggled to compute real-time asset book values and automated straight-line depreciation for corporate financial reports.

Study Morph Engineering Solution

Study Morph engineered a high-performance web application featuring key enterprise modules:

• Modul Barcode & Label Printing: The system automatically generates unique standardized barcode and QR Code labels for every asset, complete with ready-to-print thermal adhesive layouts.
• Live In-Browser Camera Scanner: Auditors simply point their mobile camera to scan physical barcode stickers during periodic field audits.
• Tracking Mutasi & Serah Terima: Every item movement between departments or personnel is logged with an immutable Transfer Reference code (TRF), timestamp, and digital authorization.
• Jejak Audit Real-time (Audit Trail): Setiap aksi penambahan, perubahan status, login, atau perubahan nilai aset disimpan dalam log tak dapat diubah demi transparansi tata kelola.
